Free public access cabinet scheme for schools.

Apply now.

Our new scheme is set up to make it as easy as possible for schools across the SW to turn their government provided defibrillators into community public access defibrillators (CPAD’s).

If you can meet the criteria below, we will send a fully funded Jay’s Aim Public Access Cabinet to you at your school. The only cost to the school will be the cost of installation (similar to putting up an outside light up). You can see the technical information about the cabinet in our online shop here.

We can also provide our free CPR and defibrillator training to your staff and students.

Please read the criteria below carefully before completing the online form. It’s important that you can meet all criteria. If you have any questions please email us.

Criteria

  • Our school is based in SW England.

  • We can install the cabinet in a location that is accessible to the public 24/7 (normally an outside wall or fence).

  • We will register the defibrillator on the National Defibrillator Network (999) called ‘The Circuit’.

  • We can meet the cost of installation and will endeavour to install the cabinet within 8 weeks.

  • We understand that we are still responsible for our defibrillators upkeep and for providing replacement parts.

  • We understand that ‘unlocked’ cabinets will be used on this scheme. This is Jay’s Aim policy and is encouraged by the ambulance service (Please email us if this will be a problem for your school).

  • We can provide a promotional photograph of the cabinet once it is installed.

  • We understand the number of cabinets available on this scheme is limited and will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
