Our Story.
Establishing a charity in Jay’s name with the target of reducing the rate of sudden cardiac death among young people.
Jay’s Story.
He was a brother, a son, a fiancé and a father who died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of just 28. After his death, we learnt that Jay had an undiagnosed inherited heart condition, and that this had caused a fatal cardiac arrest.
Setting up the charity
While the sudden nature of Jay’s death had left us grieving and shaken, it also made us determined to prevent other families from enduring this experience.
